Opening Scene [from 0:35 - 3:32]

Sasuke: Sasuke’s Room - Qualities of Love; Advice from a ‘Yandere’: Places where the miracle of love falls into. Let’s start.

Masamune: Yo, Sasuke. I’m here.

Sasuke: Good evening, Masamune-san.

Sasuke: This might be a bit sudden, but have you noticed there hasn’t been much excitement lately?

Masamune: That really is sudden. Are you a bored housewife or something? Well, having to come here every time with just the two of us, is getting a bit boring.

Sasuke: And so, today, I’ve invited a special guest. Welcome.

Kenshin: Is this today’s battlefield, Sasuke?

Masamune: The God of War…

Kenshin: And you… the One-eyed Dragon. How pleasant to run into you here.

Masamune: The feeling’s mutual. Draw your sword.

Kenshin: Exactly what I was hoping for—

Sasuke [sarcastically]: WOW, SO SYNCHRONIZED. …In any case, would both of you please put away your swords. Today, to add some excitement, I invited Kenshin because I wanted to learn more about the ‘yandere’ stereotype.

Masamune: Yan…dere?

Kenshin: What is that…?

Sasuke: Let me explain. Apparently, a ‘yandere’ is someone who, when falling deeply in love with a person; locks them up, binds them, and expresses their love quite intensely, in various ways.

Kenshin: Now, I understand. A person who is inexorably engulfed by the feelings burning inside their chest, that they, out of impulse, suppress their love’s delicate body; lock them up in these arms without hope of escape; then proceeds to monopolize their every emotion, and inevitably conquers that woman’s very being…Or so I presume.

Sasuke: Thank you for the excessively detailed explanation.

Masamune: I don’t get it at all. Shouldn’t you let her live freely because you love her?

Kenshin: It’s because you love her that you would want to own every part of her. …It seems our love for battle is the only thing we have in common.

Sasuke: I also wanted to analyze a yandere’s psychological state; however, even listening to our resident yandere, Kenshin-sama, I still don’t quite get it. “

Kenshin: ‘Our resident yandere…’

Masamune: Well, might as well try it out. Seeing the kind of mood it creates, even once, could be entertaining. Sasuke, I’m gonna go home and practice being a “yandere”.

Kenshin: Then I’m leaving as well. After I dispose of the One-eyed dragon…is what I would’ve wanted to say, but I suddenly feel the need to see her.

Sasuke: Both of you, thank you for the hard work. …. Ah, looks like they left. They both seemed to be in a rush… I suppose if there’s someone you really wanted to see, it’s understandable for your heart to become restless.

I’m going to go see her as well and let her help me investigate more about “yanderes”

Of course, actual guide to follow below. This is a bit like a more detailed continuation of an ask I answered a long time ago, but I thought it would be helpful to my followers and people who would like to purchase drama CDs and other merchandise from Stellaworth (ステラワース) and Animate Online Shop (アニメイトオンラインショップ), two major retailers of drama CD/anime/manga goods that us fangirls go crazy over (actually, tho). Please be aware that this method is only applicable to those in possession of a credit card that works for international online shopping, or can pay through other means like bank transfer or at the コンビニ.

This is also mainly targeted towards those who live outside of Japan, so if you do live within Japan, you can completely skip the section on forwarding (because you have an address in Japan)! Or, you can just visit any Animate near you, as well as Stellaworth in person (provided you can get to Ikebukuro).

So, without further ado!

OH MY GOD whyyyy did no one tell me you’re supposed to send thank-yous after interviews?? Why would I do that???

“Thank you for this incredibly stressful 30 minutes that I have had to re-structure my entire day around and which will give me anxiety poos for the next 24 hours.”

I HATE ETIQUETTE IT’S THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE THING FOR ME TO LEARN WITHOUT SOMEONE DIRECTLY TELLING ME THIS SHIT

NO ONE TOLD YOU???? WTF! I HAVE FAILED YOU. Also: Dear ______: Thank you so much for the opportunity to sit down with you (&________) to discuss the [insert job position]. I am grateful to be considered for the position. I think I will be a great fit at [company name], especially given my experience in __________. [insert possible reference to something you talked about, something that excited you.] I look forward to hearing from you [and if you are feeling super confident: and working together in the future]. Sincerely, @mellivorinae

THIS IS A LIFESAVING TEMPLATE

YOU ARE WELCOME

My brother got a really great paid internship one summer. The guy who hired him said the deciding factor was the professional thank you letter my brother sent after the interview.

should it be an email? or like a physical letter?

email, you want to send it within a few hours at max after the interview if you can so it’s fresh in their mind who you are.

Confirmed! I interviewed for a job right after arriving in NY. The interview went incredibly well, and I went home and immediately wrote a thank you letter and put it in the mail. I had a super good feeling about this interview.

I didn’t get the job.

However, a few weeks later, I was called in to interview with another editor in the same company, and I did get that job. I found out later from the initial editor (the one who didn’t hire me) that he had planned to offer me the job, but since I didn’t follow up with a thank you letter, he assumed I didn’t really want it. He offered the job to another contender–but when he got my letter in the mail shortly after the offer had already been made, he went to HR and gave me a glowing recommendation. It was based on that recommendation that I got called in for the second interview.

So: send an email thank you immediately (same day!) after the interview. If you’re feeling extra, go ahead and send a written one too. OR go immediately to a coffee shop, write the letter, and return to the office and give it to the secretary.

Either way, those letters are important.

Pro tip: If you really want HR to develop a personal interest in your application, publicly thank them on linkedin. Just make a short post telling your network about how X recruiter really went above and beyond to make you feel welcome, or about how be accommodating and professional they were, or whatever. Make sure to use the mention feature so they’ll get a notification and see it.

Flattery will get you everywhere… and public flattery that might make its way back to their manager, doubly so.

Obligatory plug for one of FreePrintable.net’s sites: ThankYouLetter.ws. They have a whole section with interview thank you letter templates, and a page with specific tips for interview thank you letters. (There are also tons of other letter templates if you browse around a bit.)

Also like for cover letters I always closed with “thank you for the opportunity, and I look forward to hearing from your company, should my skills fit the needs of this position.” Which got me employed less than a year after law school in the field of my choice
